Sending love to Jodie Frederickson Coston-- Coston Stock Photography!!

"Learn to meditate and listen to the small voice within that tells you to move, then do what it says. Struggling is a choice. You’d be surprised at how smooth your life will flow if you allow yourself to breathe and ride in faith that everything you want is anxious to come to you." -James Cagney

"Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give."  -Eleanor Roosevelt

“Put your ear down close to your soul and listen hard.” -Anne Sexton

"Here is the instruction: Only connect. Wherever you are, right now, pay attention. Forever." - Sylvia Boorstein

"I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark would burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time." -Jack London

"Life is going to give you just what you put into it. Put your whole heart in everything you do." -Vivian Baxter

"Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass." ~Paul J. Meyer

Poem: The Invitation

My skin's only desire is to fulfill itself
Each pore a tiny shimmering supernova
Detonated synapses
Quiet tripwire torpedos
You are a flea jump tickle
A needleprick storm of gentle lightning
An oozing ripeness I catch mid raindrop
On my bedsheets
Sewn of tastebuds
I can feel your short circuit 1200 miles away
Static cling slow burns me to a rare steak
I like to watch the blood spill beneath my hunger
Your faint vibration cracks my atmosphere
Like a satellite thrown off orbit
I’m flaming fluorescent crashing into your earth
Blow me like a wish on the wind of my goosebumped valley
Enter me like heaven
Like a throat inhales the air wafting from mama’s kitchen
Swallow my innocence
There’s a welcome sign in my nucleus
Bed yourself in my magma
Leave your metal in my microwave
Breathe me volatile
Entreat me raw
Expose your pink petition
Like a toxic dog
Engorged with gnostic spirits
Avert me like a pile of writhing maggots
So I can't shake you
Grab me needy
Like a leper colony
I promise your memory will burn itself
Into my rods
So everything I see
Will be through the shadow of you
Stretch me like a canvas
That my skin may melt like plastic
Give me this one satisfaction.

Post-Apocalypse Shoot, David Blackwell and Enterline Media

"If we could destroy custom at a blow and see the stars as a child sees them, we should need no other apocalypse." -G.K. Chesterton

"Here was a different way to interpret the Bible's eschatology. The end of the world meant the end of injustice, the kingdom of God meant a just society, and the return of Christ meant following him on earth." -Reginald Stackhouse

"After the final no there comes a yes, and on that yes the future world depends." -Wallace Stevens

Petite Model Feature on Dennis Dorr's DigitalMontana Blog!!

What a sweet present to wake up to!! Dennis Dorr, Montana nature photographer and ballerina photographer extraordinaire, wrote an exceptionally sweet blog about me. Check it out: http://www.digitalmontana.net/blog/2010/09/16/petite/. We had such a great time shooting in beautiful Glacier National Park, on a crappy rainy day that we made the best of... see the beautiful results below!! Dennis is not only an adventurous and creative guy to shoot with, a talented photographer, but also a sweet and kind-hearted friend!! Thanks for the love!!

Dennis' favorite quote and one that gives me chills and goosebumps and sometimes even makes me cry: "Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again." ~Henri Cartier-Bresson
